Business Development Officer


We are currently seeking a talented Business Development Officer to manage the commercial aspects of our operations. As Business Development Officer at Normark Defence, you will be responsible for driving revenue growth through proactive sales activities, managing existing accounts, and participating in conferences and trade shows. You will work closely with the Innovation Officer and Project Manager to develop and implement sales strategies that align with our business objectives, and you will refer directly to the Business Unit Leader. The work location will be at our office in Søborg, but with working from home as a natural part of our day-to-day operations.


  • Develop and execute sales plans to achieve revenue targets and expand our customer base.
  • Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with existing clients to ensure customer satisfaction and retention.
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities through market research, networking, and lead generation.
  • Represent Normark Defence at industry events, conferences, and trade shows to promote our products and services.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with fluency in both Danish and English.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including marketing and product development, to drive business growth and innovation.


  • Preferably bachelor’s or master’s degree in business administration, marketing, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 3 years’ experience in sales or business development within the defence industry.
  • Proven track record of achieving sales targets and building strong customer relationships.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to influence stakeholders at all levels.
  • Willingness to travel and attend events as required.
  • The candidate should foresee undergoing screening for the security
  • clearance: NATO SECRET.
